Miscalculated payments
These people miscalculated my payments then sent me an inflated mortgage bill. my wife and I had to sit down and explain to these people what they did wrong and how we were going to have to fix it. Nationstar is incompetent and will do very little to rectify a situation other than repossessing your home. The lady we talked to on the phone multiple times tried her best to confuse us with their jargon. they also do not handle money very well either. we sent them a check and told them exactly what we wanted the money to be used for they mishandled it and deposited the money exactly where we didn't want it to go. when we confronted them about it they promised that they would allocate the funds properly, but sent us a refund check instead. this company has to have their hand held every step of the way and their the ones in charge of my mortgage!

Nationstar Mortgage - Mortgage Review from Buffalo, New York
Despicable horrible worst mortgage company I have ever worked with. All I want to do is give them the money there extorting from me and they won't give a pay off statement. They have "lost" everything I've sent them multiple times. They are a criminal enterprise!! I've spent 6000 over five years trying to pay them off and they refuse to cooperate. Absurd. When I say Nation Star bankers and real estate Lawyers shake there heads and say things like "there the worst" and "they give the rest of us a bad name" along with "I don't understand how there still in business"

BOA bailed on this property
I was told by bank of America that this property was transferred to Nationstar Mortgage in 2013. So Bank of America did nothing for 2 1/2 years and then Nationstar did nothing for the following 2 1/2 years. So no relief in sight. I have sent a postal mail to Nationstar and have not received a reply. Business as usual. Big guy can do whatever and little guy losses. I can not understand why a bank would let a property just deteriorate for no reason. I am sure a bank could hire a property management company to maintain their foreclosed properties. Disgusting!!
Loss:
$25000
Cons:
- Complaint resolution

Lender's Insurance A fraud!
I agreed using their flood insurance, as stated $1800/Year cost, but they have charged over $3000 for one year, still over charging up to date since 2013. Called and asked for the breakdown cost, they refused to give, basically they give me the run around deal where every call is waiting call up to 35mins, then they transfer to someone else for another 30mins wait then some one... they refused to help you in any way. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE SCAM artists! This need to be looked at by Consumer Report! Looking into Class Action Law Suit to get my money back, if not at least I have my words out!!

Nationstar Mortgage - Mortgage Modification Review from Seaford, Delaware
Awful company. My mortgage was sold to Nationstar by Bank of America. I have been applying for a modification for years now. Paperwork disappears, customer service is horrible. Despite overnighting every single document they asked for numerous times, they still continue to deny me for missing papers. I have tried everything from putting post it notes on each piece of documentation explaining what it is proof of, to copying the letter that describes what you need and highlighting each section for each piece of documentation. I don't know what else to do. Eventually I will lose my home because this company is useless. Every month i get a letter stating that i have a new account specialist but i can never reach that person, when i speak to another representative they tell me that person no longer works there. How is this company getting away with this?

Negligence
Nationstar's impound account consistently payed my property taxes two months late, one to two days before the late charge. Because the property taxes were past due, I had to pay them out of pocket for my refinance to get funded. Five weeks later they send my $2950.00 to the county, not to me. If Nationstar would have checked with the county, Nationstar would have seen that the taxes were paid over a month earlier and still past the due date. Refinance was needed due to Nationstar's refusal to remove the mortgage insurance, despite my meeting the required 78% debt to 22% equity and never being late on a payment. Now, due to Nationstar's negligence, I have to wait for the county to process the payment that Nationstar states they wired a month ago, that still hasn't posted, and for the county to refund the funds to Nationstar. Then Nationstar said they will send it to me. Worst home loan company out there.

Nationstar Mortgage - Loan Review from Chicago, Illinois
They sold my home 4/15/2015 as it was under modification, reason it went behind was after loan sold they never notified me they had my loan. Their excuse my ex filed bk back in 2009. Not I. But my ex. Since I have receive two notices staring it was brought to their attention that loan was behind, to contact their foreclose department for modification assistance. Sadly, I'm a single mom struggling trying to find a place to live. ( homeless do to foreclosing ruining my credit) with stressed, depressed daughter thanks to their negligence, and can't afford an attorney to try get them out business and stop them from ruining people's lives. Best of luck!!

Customer Service
Our mortgage was sold to Nationstar from Bank Of America. They have the worst customer service. They will put you on hold for long periods, transfer you back and forth, and give you the run around. They would not respond to any emails until I filed a BBB complaint. The customer service manager would not return our phone calls or emails. We have since sold the house and are still waiting for them to correct a name mistake on one our our escrow refund checks. I am glad not to have them anymore and will try to avoid them in the future at all costs!! I am buying a new home right now and went with Quickens Loans. I just hope they never sell our mortgage to one of these companies like Nationstar who have sub-par customer service. Thank you.

Nationstar Mortgage where Customers do not matter
I tried very unsuccessfully for over 4 years to try and work things out with this god awful company, I was Promised 3k to move out and a deed in lieu, neither one happened, I moved out of the property in 2013 and the property was foreclosed on 2014, I was sent letter telling me to sign paperwork for a deed meanwhile they had foreclosed on the property. I was never notified. I signed for a DIL 3 times because they kept loosing the paperwork. Every 6 months I had to deal with a new "person" who did not know about the previous DIL or who the other person was even though I had forward the emails with Documents to new "person" form previous "person". I cannot buy a house now because Nationstar did not follow procedure and instead of being able to buy a house after a year I have to wait 7. I was to be modified because I was unemployed for 9 months and I was asked to pay 3 "good deed payments" and I did after that they still proceeded with foreclosure. Switch and Bait Company
Loss:
$175000
Reason of review:
Poor customer service
Preferred solution: Pay 3000 for moving expenses, honor DIL retroactive to 2011 so that I can buy a house this year, or return property and refinance

Nationstar mortgage is forclosing on my home after falling behind two months.
They would not take any more payments unless paid them the entire loan amount 79,000. I am now five months behind. They wont take my calls. I have applied for modifications but Nationstar Claims that they never received any document for modification, they kept saying that something was always missing and i had to resumit every thing again because they would give the 3 days and after that everything expired. I know that all documents were complete but they insisted on saying they were not received, even though i have send it by certified mail, faxes- email. They are desroying my life and my family. I dont understand why these companies are able to get away with such practices. I would like to know if there is someone that could put a stop to nationstar.
