My story is Quicken loans originated the refinance closing in July, sold it to Freddie Mac in August who immediately assigned it to NationStar for COLLECTIONS. Then the problems started!
They refused monthly payment to generate late fees, additional interest and obviously with the goal of forcing legal fees in the end. Three payments in September made using NationStars website removed money from my FCU account were paid to NationStar but never applied against my mortgage!
The State Department of Consumer Affairs (AG's Office) has found no resolve since November.
The Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has provided no resolve since November.
NationStar is noncommunicative, unresponsive, and has shown itself to be predatory in mortgage servicing -- not a good thing for seniors.
There seems to be no attorneys with the resources that will go to bat over this issue.
Not a good thing!
